Amrak has developed many solutions for on-line product catalogues. These catalogues has been developed for retail and whole sales business. Main benefit of placing catalogues on-line is to use the power of internet marketing and offer your products to rapidly increasing numbers of internet visitors. Visitors can check the product availability, specifications, and price before visiting your store. On-line commerce feature can also be blended with the catalogue to provide complete on-line shopping facility.
The products are stored in a backend RDBMS (Rrelational DataBase Management System) and front end programs format the dynamic web page immediately when visitor requests catalogue list or details for an item in the catalogue. Store management has complete access to add/delete/edit products. Following is the brief detail of Catalogue design and Catalogue Management options.
CATALOGUE DESIGN
Each business can have a unique catalogues design. Amrak has extensive skills to designed implement any type of catalogues. Following is a sample of one of the catalogue designed specifically for a retail gift store.
List of Products
This option gives complete list of products with a brief description, a small picture of the product, and price.
Product Details
When a visitor will click on any product in the products list, a product detail page will be presented. This page will cover the product name, product description, picture, price, and specifications. If the product will be available for on-line shopping, BUY button will be available. Otherwise, a message will request visitor to go to the store to get the product.
Sales / Discounts
A separate area is available where all the products on sale can be advertised. The products along with the original price will be displayed in this area in order to give visitor a feeling of discount available.
CATALOGUE MANAGEMENT
Product Addition
Option is available to add new product on-line. A form is available to submit the name, description and price of the product. By filling this form, the product data can be loaded into on line catalogue database. The product still stays in the back end and is not visible to visitors until it has been activated for on-line catalogue. This can be done by activating the product from an activation form. Pictures for the product can be uploaded on line by using our picture upload interface.
Product Deletion
Option is available to remove any product from on-line catalogue. Management can select the product from the list and by selecting remove option, the product can be deleted from the database permanently.
Product Deactivation
If a product is out of stock but will be available in future, it can be de-activated by selecting the product from the list and deactivating that. This doesn't remove the product from database but disables that for internet visitors.
Price Management
Store management has complete access to the prices of the products. The price for any product can be changed by selecting a product from the list and editing price from a price change form.
